    • A. Zubyuk will make a report "A new approach to specificity in possibility theory: Decision-making point of view".
  • Jan. 18, 2019 at 16:00 chair seminar was held.
    • D. Balakin made a report "A concept of mathematical modeling based on the theory of
      measuring-computing systems as universal measuring devices".

      The key notions of the theory of measuring-computing systems as universal measuring devices are considered, and its most significant differences from alternative mathematical methods of measurement data processing are shown. In particular, it is shown that the usual processing methods like least squares and its regularized versions, maximum entropy approach, etc. cannot serve as the foundation of the algorithms implemented by the computing component of a measuring-computing system, as they cannot realize its capabilities as a measuring device and they do not allow to determine the parameters of the measuring component that achieve these capabilities. The main results obtained in this theory are given.
